Job ID: 14447Position Description:Direct the daily cash processing function which averages approximately 5.5M customer payments totaling $4.5B annually to an active customer base of 1.5M accounts. Coordinate the accurate and timely payment reconciliation process and related customer service activities to support data excellence for an accounts receivable portfolio of $567M. Strategically position each functional area from a technical standpoint to successfully support a potentially $10B plus organization. -Manage the daily activities of two separate functional areas within the department. Total personnel related responsibilities (direct/indirect) total approximately 57 in Cash Processing and 51 within Accounts Receivable. -Achieve and maintain primary deposit percentages of at least 98% on a yearly basis. Key elements to attain and surpass this goal include strategic planning, analysis of technical enhancements (equipment), process improvements and emphasis on training. -Achieve a higher level of all around service excellence with respect to various phases of payment reconciliation processing. Development of specific quantitative/qualitative measurements of aged payments, direct customer/field contact, correspondence, follow-up and account level accuracy will serve to promote data excellence/customer satisfaction. -Interact, consult and confer with counterparts in Sales/Branch Operations to achieve greater customer focused quality for each functional area. Promoting teamwork, soliciting input and sharing customer/branch specific information will result in process improvements for many cross functional areas. -Identify/direct training opportunities by creating an environment which fosters increased personal development through training and education. Increased emphasis on employee development (empowerment) needs to be encouraged for all employees to assist in process improvement, service excellence and complexity reduction efforts.-Drive continuous improvement to minimize risk, gain efficiencies, and reduce costs.-Plan, monitor and maintain yearly budgeting responsibilities for each functional area. An accurate and comprehensive budget planning process of approximately $6.4M annually is a crucial factor in helping the Company attain the necessary levels of profitability and overall return on investment.Position Requirements:The individual selected for position of Cash Processing and Accounts Receivable Manager should have a bachelors degree in business or equivalent related business experience. Must possess comprehensive systemic working knowledge of current cash and check application processing environments. Must demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.Finally, to demonstrate the ability to provide outstanding leadership and vision.
