OVERVIEW:The Senior Financial Analyst's primary role will be to support project leadership in the identification and implementation of various shared services reengineering initiatives to improve quality, reduce cost and increase organizational efficiency.Phase I of the Finance Transformation focuses primarily upon improvements in financial consolidation and reporting. There are multiple openings for Sr. Financial Analysts. These individuals will play an integral role throughout the entire project lifecycle. The roles will expand to include analysis of global finance/accounting processes across various aspects of the organization.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: -Work with key constituents to identify and implement process improvement / reengineering initiatives -Support standardization across global procedures by optimizing processes and implementing best practices -Support shared services reengineering initiatives and ensure they are delivered on time, on scope and within budget -Track and report on progress of reengineering initiatives in accordance with ArvinMeritor Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) project management process -Support implementations in North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe-Report on key operating and financial metrics as well as preparing presentations for senior level management
The candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in finance or information systems.  A bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting is required; MBA preferred. Strong analytical skills are required, with project management experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills are a necessity, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Oracle ERP knowledge is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team-player who is focused on continuous improvement.
