Senior ERP Specialist

Engineered Arresting Systems Company has an immediate opportunity for an ERP Specialist at our Southeast Pennsylvania Facility. This position requires expertise in the design, development and support of business solutions. A solid business system background in technology, program applications, integration, the development of business processes, administration and development and implementation of an end user training program is required to perform the duties of this position. Identify where business change is required to solve business issues within the scope of the ERP application.  Applicant must be familiar with ERP applications and specific knowledge of manufactruing modules is a plus. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·  Serve as an analyst in, testing new modules to improve our business processes, developing and administering a comprehensive training program for end users, and data integrity maintenance to support various areas of the business and integrated custom applications.

·  Serve as a facilitator for numerous teams involved in improving business processes, and developing new methods of utilizing the various ERPMovex tools.

·  Utilization of Client Access and query tools on AS400 to assist in the download of various data.  Be proficient in MS Excel and MS Access to further manipulate downloaded data.  Knowledge of Hyperion Reporting Software is a plus.

·  Work with Applications and Operations Teams and use reporting software (Hyperion experience is a plus) to extract data and load data into staging databases for next business day data extraction by the business.

·  Analyze business needs and apply ERP functionality, assist business users in the use of the business system, suggest improvements, support implementation of measurements, and assist in fact-findings.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or Business administration or equivalent.

·  5 years experience with a common ERP business system (Movex experience is a plus) with experience in process mapping and improvement to support business needs.

·  Experience in an industry standard ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle Financials, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Lawson, Great Plains, Baan, BPICS, ManManX, MAPICS, MFGPRO, Solomon) is acceptable in one or several of these areas: Customer Order Management, Finance and Manufacturing.
