It produces diagnostic tools used for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), commonly referred to as acid reflux disease, as well as for neurological conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and sleep disorders. Founded in 1994, the company is headquartered in Orange County, California with manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts, Denmark, and Vietnam.

Our Global Information Technology department is looking for an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to perform a variety of world wide, complex, technical, administrative and supervisory work in the development, installation and maintenance of IT system solutions, preferably in a QAD MFGPRO-2007.1 environment specializing in Distribution and/or Supply Chain.
What would you be doing?
Manages and supervises assigned and developed operations to achieve goals within available resources.Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates and evaluates assigned staff; reviews progress and directs changes.Identifies, plans, schedules, prioritizes, organizes, manages and reports on the tasks and resources required to accomplish defined objectives of specific manufacturing, materials, logistics distribution, finance and/or operational projects.Evaluates, recommends and supports all associated enterprise software solutions, including installations.Provides professional advice to supervisors; makes presentations to supervisors, focus groups and the general public.Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long range goals and plans; gathers, interprets and prepares data for studies, reports and recommendations; coordinates department activities with other departments and agencies.Communicates official department information technology plans, policies and procedures to staff, vendors, customers and the general public.Assures assigned areas of responsibility are performed within budget; performs cost control activities; monitors revenues and expenditures to assure sound fiscal control; assures effective and efficient use of budget funds, personnel materials, facilities and time.Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow, studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Is this the role for you?
We are looking for talented candidates with extensive knowledge of Information Technology and QAD’s MFGPRO-2007.1 integrated Enterprise Resource applications, electronic commerce principles and practices, progress databases, and programming languages.
Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast changing, high-growth environment where resources are optimized around producing measurable results. He/she must have the breadth of experience and interest to work as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment.
Job requirements4 year degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or closely related field or equivalent work experience.7+ years of progressively responsible related experience in manufacturing, materials, logistics and/or finance and operations management and analysis including design, testing installation, training, and end user work instruction and documentation preparation. 5+ years managing people, projects and budgets.Background in medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and/or wholesale distribution a plus.
Looking for the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:Extensive knowledge of information technology and QAD’s MFGPRO-2007.1 integrated enterprise resource applications; considerable knowledge of electronic commerce principles and practices; working knowledge of Progress databases and programming languages.Knowledge of Corporate Security policies and the ability to incorporate them in systems implementation and support.Financial analysis skills.Effective written and verbal communications.
