Scheduler

In this position you will have the opportunity to schedule customer deliveries based on forecast, material availability. Communicates with Purchasing, Engineering, Planning and other personnel to exchange information regarding inventories, schedules and related issues. Complies and maintain manual or computerized records. Consistently and accurately level load the master production schedule. Review forecast and recommend/edit changes. Complies with health and safety policies and procedures. Supports company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions. Other duties include general filing, creating manufacturing orders per lead time schedule, and updating the data entry Item master/item balance router forms.Qualifications for this position include a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3 years scheduling and planning experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CPIM Certification is preferred.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:* Proficient with Microsoft software programs.* Work experience with Baan, AS400, preferred.* Highly motivated, good organizational skills and goal oriented. * Ability to work effectively with others. * Good problem solving skills. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with multiple assignments. * Ability to work with minimal supervision.
