LOCATION

This position is located at our Blue Ash assembly facility.

 

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports to the 3rd Shift Manager.

 

SUMMARY

As Sanitation Supervisor you will be responsible for coordinating activities of staff members that are part of the Sanitation Department.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but management may ad other duties at its discretion.

 Development of sanitation plans and measurement of team performance against established production goals.Serve as technical and training resource for the team.Responsibility for meeting deadlines.Daily supervisory responsibility for up to 30 employees. Development and implementation of SOPs.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree desired or a High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of in a food manufacturing environment in the Sanitation Department as a supervisor.

 In-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements (FDA, GMPs, etc.) for food operations.Strong analytical skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Effective interpersonal and influential management skills in interacting with cross-functional teams (Warehousing, Manufacturing, QA, QC, Maintenance, etc.)Ability to plan, prioritize, implement and monitor activities in a constantly changing environment.Ability to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize team performance.Practical problem-solving skills, training and supervisory techniques are essential.Effective coaching and team building skills.PC software skills are required.Bilingual – Spanish/English is a plus.USDA/FDA experience is a plus.Experience with 5S programs, lean manufacturing, etc.Strong technical background.
