Sanitation Manager
LiDestri Foods, Inc. is a national food processing privately held company that specializes in the manufacturing and packaging of hot fill and retorted products to include: salsa, pasta sauces, Asian, and Alfredo sauces for both retail and food service distribution. We have high speed and state of the art manufacturing facilities on the East and West Coasts that produce products packaged in glass and plastic containers for major domestic and international food companies.

Job Description:
·        Supervise and coordinate the sanitation efforts within the facility
·        Have the ability to run and coordinate a CIP system, including knowledge of the proper handling of sanitation chemicals
·        Maintain GMP provisions that relate to cleanliness and sanitation
·        Ensure that the company remains in compliance with OSHA, FDA and AIB regulations, maintaining the operations in such a manner as to achieve a superior rating from the annual AIB inspection
·        Develop and implement MCS and develop the necessary methods, procedures, and systems to improve the facilities performance in these areas
·        Develop and maintain training and development programs that support key performance goals for the department and company
·        Manage department operations to comply with all applicable safety laws and regulations, as well as Company safety policies, procedures and standards.
·        Overall responsibilities include maintaining the facility in a sanitary condition

Qualifications Required:
·        College Degree preferred
·        5+ year’s experience as a Sanitation Manager in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
·        Computer literate (Word, Excel, E-mail) Required
·        Extensive Knowledge in Food Safety Programs (AIB)
·        Must be motivated, hard working, and a team player
