Sales and Marketing Professional

AST Products, Inc. seeks a sales and marketing professional to assist with increasing the firm’s business development effectiveness in our equipment division. The initial emphasis will be on internal sales activities: identifying and targeting prospective clients, making sales calls and generating new business opportunities, developing proposals, maintaining the database and managing the activity pipeline of potential new clients.

Marketing efforts require working with the Vice President of Business Development on marketing messages, planning and implementing marketing communications approaches, tactics, and measures. This is a terrific opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to wear a few different hats and build a career in business development for professional services.

Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or Liberal Arts preferred. The sales and marketing professional must be highly organized and detail oriented. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills and excellent phone manner for external interactions. The sales and marketing professional must be willing to make outgoing sales calls. The ideal candidate must have good command of the English language and grammar, with strong writing skills. The sales and marketing professional will be enthusiastic, a fast learner, flexible, and a good problem solver Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Act a plus. Sales experience is a plus. The sales and marketing professional must be legal to work in the USA.  A valid driver’s license and vehicle is a must.
