Shelburne Plastics, a Burlington, Vermont based HDPE plastic bottle and container

manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on sales and marketing professional. With locations in

Vermont, New Hampshire and Maryland, this thirty year old company has 100 employees

and presents a wonderful opportunity for the right individual. With talented employees, a

committed management team and a loyal customer base, we have already made significant

progress and are optimistic about the company’s future. This position is available due to the

projected retirement of our current and long standing Sales Vice President.

 

The selected candidate must have at least 5-7 years of experience selling blow molded plastic

containers and bottles to the water, juice, dairy, medical, personal care, food & beverage

and industrial marketplaces. Knowledge of the blow molding process and a background in

bottle design, product pricing and achievingprofit margins are vital to success. In addition to

playing a key role on the management team and managing a small staff, including customer

service, the Sales and Marketing Director will initially be expected to focus exclusively on

developing new business opportunities.

 

Reasonable travel (30-40%) will be required. The position will be based at our Manchester,

New Hampshire, location. We provide a competitive base salary, incentive compensation,
