Sales/Territory Manager - contract manufacture to medical device indiustry

We are looking for a special individual with exceptional sales and technical skills to fill an Outside Sales Manager position in the Central United States, which spans 13 states from Colorado to Indiana.  The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of, and have experience with, selling to the medical device industry. He/she will create and develop relationships with R&D Directors, Purchasing Directors and others involved in the decision to outsource the manufacturing of their medical device. The Outside Sales Manager reports to the Sales and Marketing Director, and is responsible for building the sales territory and establishing a company identity and presence in the region. 

 

To be considered, you must meet the following qualifications:Minimum 5+ years outside sales experience, 3+ years of experience selling to the Medical Device industryEngineering degree with MBA preferred (education can be waived with more experienced candidates)Application development experience/expertise with proven track record of sales success Experience with the machining and fabrication of metal components preferred Ability to initiate new customer relationships and further develop existing accountsStrong competitive desire to win and be part of a winning team Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer interface skills Willingness to travel extensively, 50%++ by car and air Capable of professional growth and taking on additional responsibility as the company succeeds in their mission and goals.
