Sales Service Coordinator

Vesuvius USA, a world leader in the design, engineering, manufacture and delivery of refractory products, systems and services for high-technology industrial applications is seeking a Sales Service Coordinator for our Champaign IL location.  This position supports field Sales Account Managers and is a key contact point for external customers, vendors, suppliers as well as our internal Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Logistics/Transportation departments.

 

Key AccountabilitiesAnswers customer and account manager inquiries concerning order placement, product availability shipment status/expediting, and pricing.Reconciles inventory to maintain low levels of working capital.Ensures billing is performed in an accurate, timely manner.Coordinates efforts in sales, manufacturing, logistics and purchasing.

 

Background/Experience

Minimum of an Associate's Degree and 3-5 years of customer service experience required, particularly in manufacturing or logistics. Strong computer skills, experience with an ERP system is a plus. Keen attention to detail, able to work under stress and tight time constraints.  Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers who are located in different areas of the country and must be able to constructively handle and respond to conflict.  Effective written and verbal communication skills a must.
