Our client is in need of an experienced Sales Representative to assist them in their growth. Since 1972 the company has been manufacturing different lines of bolts, cap screws, nuts, screws, and washers in variety of finishes. They expanded operations to include international distribution and manufacturing facilities in Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston in the United States and Toronto, Montreal, and Edmonton in Canada

 

Position summary:

Provide excellent customer service to all existing as well as prospective customers and to provide a professional and complementary representation in the market. To work as a team within the company continually improving on customer service.

Tasks:

·         Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing customers.

·         Develop, and maintain an excellent knowledge of customers’ requirements, and maintenance of individual accounts as assigned.

·         Contact regular and prospective customers, and solicit orders.

·         Quote prices and delivery dates.

·         Answer customers’ questions about products, prices availability, product uses and terms.

·         Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.

·         Consult with customers after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.

·         Establish sales goals and targets.

·         Visit existing and potential customers.

·         Perform administrative duties, such as keeping sales records and filing expense accounts reports.

·         Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs and assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Experience and Education:

·         Minimum experience in the fastener business.

·         High energy and enthusiasm.

·         High integrity and strong work ethic.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other pertinent computer software and internet knowledge.

·         Use of fax, copier, calculator.

·         Phone etiquette.
