Sales Representative / AB5389
Position Description:
We are looking for individuals for our 2009 Sales Training Program. Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or 3 years field sales, inside sales, or customer service experience. Candidates must be self-motivated and possess strong project management and presentation skills as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Bi-lingual in Spanish/English, Japanese/English or Chinese/English a plus. Willingness to relocate to open territories within the United States is required.
Qualifications:
Sales Representatives of Saint-Gobain Abrasives sell a variety of products — such as bonded, super and coated abrasives — through various market channels for application in many industries. We are seeking candidates for our Automotive Aftermarket, Do-It-Yourself, Construction Products Division, and Industrial sales channels. Upon graduation from our 8 to 23 week Sales Training Program, the Sales Representative becomes the primary resource for customers and distributors. The training program expands upon basic product and marketing concepts, basic selling communication skills, knowledge of industry management practices, and knowledge of the company’s promotional programs and literature materials. Sales trainees will learn to apply their product knowledge to solve customer problems and their selling skills to establish and grow accounts. Saint-Gobain provides its sales representatives the resources of the world leader in abrasives, an excellent compensation package, the best training in the industry, a territory with potential, an automobile, and all the tools necessary to succeed. Graduates of the Sales Training Program are assigned a sales territory that will vary in size. There is an established career path that offers significant promotional opportunity for those individuals who excel.Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V
