Sales Engineer
Amphenol Printed Circuits, Inc. (APC) designs and manufactures backplanes, rigid flex, flexible circuits and assemblies for various industries to include: Military, Military Aerospace, Aviation, Medical, Computer, Consumer Products, Industrial and Communications.
Work with customers in all functional areas/levels to establish Amphenol as their electronic packaging solution. Focus is selling backplanes, flex assemblies, and Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) to a strategic Mil-Aero customer base. Demand creation of new opportunities on programs at existing accounts as well as new accounts is required.
Responsibilities:
· Achieve the booking and design win plan.
· Identification of business potential within Sales Territory at new and existing accounts.
· Development of a new product pipeline for new opportunities.
· Development of a one year revenue and booking forecast .
· Coordination with marketing to establish objectives and strategies to meet forecast.
· Work with existing sales force to leverage greater Amphenol content.
· Identification of decision makers at accounts and coordination of activity through them.
· Coordinate product design efforts between Amphenol and customer personnel.
· Function as principle link between Amphenol for both existing and new customers.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field (BS in Engineering preferred)
· A minimum of 3-5 years directly related experience.
· In addition, the ability to represent Amphenol in a professional manner at the assigned accounts and the ability to coordinate sales through the appropriate sales channel. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
· Knowledge of the backplane and PCB market.
· Travel required 25-50%
· Strong ability to interface with all levels of staff to achieve organizational goals.
· Strong communication skills in a technical environment required.
· Must be highly organized and a self starter.
· Experience with Microsoft office.
