Sales/Application Engineer
Major manufacturing conglomerate is looking for a Sales Engineer for their very profitable Philadelphia based operations. They are one of America’s leading corporations and one of the most profitable on Wall Street. This is a role designated for someone with only one or two years experience who is looking to grow their career into Field Sales. You will be trained on product selection and will act as a Customer Liaison assisting in problem resolution, providing pricing proposals and participate in negotiations. This largely sedentary position will work with field sales to help manage an accounts product direction, growth and help attain sales objectives. Product training, audits and occasional customer visits will be required. This is a top notch corporation looking for growth oriented Engineers. Qualified candidates for the Sales Engineer opening will have a 4 year Degree (Engineering preferred but not required) 1 to 2 years prior Sales Engineering/Sales Training/Application Engineering or Customer Service experience. While this role is largely sedentary you will be required to travel normally domestically but occasionally overseas up to 20%. This role is designed to provide Sales Engineering support to their experienced Field Sales team and be an entry point into the corporation Sales force. You will assist customers in selecting the correct product to meet their needs and provide training on new products to both customers and the field sales force. Computer proficiency is an absolute must! You must be interested in growing your career and ideally have a willingness to relocate to do so.
