M/F/D/V. POSITION SUMMARY:The ESH Supervisor is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of ESH policies and programs throughout the facility. The ESH Supervisor is also to ensure complete site compliance to all OSHA, EPA, DOT local, state and federal regulations. Provide Leadership to SFO personnel and drive continuing Safety culture improvements in order to obtain world class safety status.JOB DUTIES:'«Administer policies and programs to ensure compliance EPA, OSHA, and DOT requirements and all compliance activities for these regulatory agencies.'«Identify training needs and develop on-going employee training programs, Emergency Contingency Plan, written safety communications, policies and procedures.'«Implement all activities with respect to area safety audits, personal protection equipment programs, and all other prevention programs. '«Prepare submittals and ensure compliance with existing environmental and safety permits and programs(SPDES Storm Water, Tier II, SARA Title III, State Facility Air permit, Asbestos O&M, SPCC, Hazardous Waste Manifesting, etc.)'«Review new product formulas and properly assess health hazard potential hazardous waste classification and prepare Material Safety Data Sheets as required for customers.'«Ensure that all departments use proper procedures for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.'«Assist with management of all Workers¡¿ Compensation claims and tracking of individual cases'«Provide technical support and information in the development of key metrics and objectives.'«Regularly review ongoing safety committee minutes and audit/inspection reports.'«Lead first line supervision and management to implement multifaceted Environmental Safety and Health program. Attributes include machine safety and machine guarding, ergonomics, waste/emissions reduction, Job Safety Analysis and program assessment activities.'«Provide support with incident investigations and root cause corrective action plans and corrective action implementation.'«Conduct and/or facilitate monthly safety training'«Conduct new employee safety orientation training'«Provide ESH leadership, direction, & influence for site supervision and management to assimilate their ESH responsibilities into daily work processes & procedures.'«Review and manage Job Safety Analysis (JSA¡¿s) and track implementation of recommended corrective actions'«Recommend, Develop and implement incentive systems for ESH Metric improvements.'«Provide oversight to Plant Hospital & Administrative ESH Support. '«Participate in ITT Site ESH Audit Teams REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Undergraduate degree with a major in physical sciences, engineering, safety disciplineExperience: 5-10 years of responsible experience in the areas of Environmental, Safety and Health; supervisory experience preferredOther Skills/Knowledge/Experience: •Extensive knowledge in OSHA regulations, accident reporting and preventative safety.•Complete knowledge of Federal, State and Local Environmental regulations including all reporting requirements and employer obligations. •Familiar with worker¡¿s compensation process•Strong presentation skills•Strong Communication & interpersonal skills•Team player•Strong analytical and problem solving skills•Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multi tasks on a daily basis;•MS Office: word, excel, outlook and MS ProjectCompetencies: Customer Focus, Results Orientation, Driving Change, Effective Communication, Collaboration and Teamwork, Self Development RESPOND HERE!
