Safety Engineer
LWB is a global producer of specialty heat resistant materials for the steel, cement, and lime industries. Our USA quarry, laboratory, and operations in WEST YORK, PA conduct site production of raw material used in the develop-ment and manufacture of high performance basic refractories. Our products are in hot demand, and we have an attractive opportunity for a Safety Engineer.
This is a highly visible opportunity that will interact with the management team to facilitate solutions in our heavy industrial manufacturing setting. Requires degree with 3-5 years of experience to analyze, enhance and/or design protective safety systems and devices which control or eliminate occupational hazards of plant equipment. Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, ANSI, and NFPA70E regulations is essential. Will review safety policies and standards to determine consistency with accepted engineering principles, and recommend technical changes as needed.
