Safety Coordinator-Manufacturing

 The purpose of the Safety Coordinator in our Jacksonville facility is to perform routine safety inspections, provide training and plant level guidance for an Asphalt & Shingle manufacturing site. The employee maintains written safety programs keeping them up to date and relevant with facility, corporate, local, state, and federal changes as necessary.  Is an integral member of the Plant Leadership Team and routinely fills in for Safety Leader as necessary.
Specialized knowledge of OSHA and all other safety regulatory compliance areas is required. Current  OSHA 501 certification is highly desirable. Industrial Safety Certificate, Associates Degree in related field, or 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing facility.

Previous experience in a Safety / Industrial Hygiene role with administrative duties. This opening is up to an 18 month assignment with other growth opportunities available depending on performance during this assignment.
