SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST II

This position will work closely with the Planning and Purchasing groups to apply Supply Chain Management methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain. BOM structure Coordinate part number attributes. Verify the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.Inventory management, accuracy, resolution: Will develop systems to lead resolutions on variations between material usage and actual on hand inventory; may be responsible for leading month end inventory, cycle counting and lot reconciliation. Maintains inventory level for raw material, Kanban/WIP to maximize superior customer service and minimize inventory investment.Create and analyze spreadsheets, charts, graphs and reports relating to backorders, fill rates, inventory, capacity and other critical business issues.Must be able to analyze a broad range of internal and external issues and develop and implement strategic solutions. Must be able to lead and assist in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of related business processes. Maintain expertise in systems knowledge and recommend new procedures to enhance the performance of the planning, scheduling, purchasing systems and inventory systems. Demonstrate ability to negotiate and arrive at win/win solutions. Other activities as assigned.Requirements: Education required/preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred, with related experienceAPICS certification (or working towards)Skilled in the area of supply chain management including capacity analysis, inventory management and planning systems. Six Sigma Greenbelt or Lean Certified or understanding of concepts.Experience: Minimum of five years experience in materials/manufacturing/purchasing/ planning.
