Terex AWP includes Genie Industries, Terex® Power Products and Terex Load King. Our Terex AWP division headquarters is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer located in Redmond, WA. Overview: The Supplier Quality Engineer will ensure effective implementation of Terex AWP Supply Assurance program. This position will support purchasing and operations through supplier audits, measurement, and root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, process standardization and documentation. They will identify and correct supply quality and delivery issues. This position requires excellent communication and technical proficiency. Responsibilities: • Assist purchasing with supplier selection, development and risk • Administer, lead supplier quality / manufacturing audits • Root cause identification • Develop and implement improvements for short term and long term • Participate in development and launch of Supply Assurance program • Assist in creation and maintenance of manual database and transition to purchased software database • Compile and analyze data • Multi-task and interact effectively within cross-functional teams • Teach and coach supply base Qualifications: • Engineering Degree • 5-10 years experience • Experience in supply chain management • Ability to multi-task • Strong Project Management Skills • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and methods • Understanding of quality tools and metrics • Excellent problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Work independently and autonomously • Flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, travel on short notice • Frequent domestic and international travel • Knowledge of 1st article, APQP, PPAP • Commodity/manufacturing process experience with one or more of following: hydraulics, steel, castings, fabrication, electrical, powertrain • Quality systems: ISO, TS, QS • Proficiency with MS Office If interested, please apply online at http://track.jobviper.com/ViewJob.asp?id=548691-3-593
