SUPERVISOR MOLDING

Molding Supervisor needed for a very profitable, very busy, fast-paced clean iron foundry operation located in East LA.  Five years minimum foundry experience (cope and drag a plus) with full foundry supervisory responsibility.  Good communications skills with basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel.  Preferably bilingual Spanish/English.  Classical General foundry supervisory duties and responsibilities to include maintenance of a safe workplace, schedule and direct all employees to meet customer demands while optimizing production.  Schedule all jobs to be run on molding equipment.  Schedule all support functions.  Identify and write all work orders on any maintenance issues in green sand area.  Continually work on improvement, form process to employee performance job by job.  Support and enforce all company rules and regulations.  Requisition all non-melt materials needed to maintain production.  Train employees on proper safety and work procedures.  Identify deficiencies and make provisions or recommendations to rectify.  Maintain and promote safety, quality and production in all green sand production areas and provide employee training.  Loaded salary benefit and re-lo package.  Great schools and location.  To be considered please submit a recent copy of your resume with salary expectations and overtime as well as a phone where you can be reached (with discretion) during business hours.  Your candidacy is fully protected and your resume will not be submitted to our client until after you have been apprised of their identity.  Submit resume in full confidence via e-mail to pelland@bellsouth.net .
