SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST

PEP manufactures: standard, modified and custom enclosures and cabinets; cases, subracks, backplanes, turn-key and custom microcomputer systems; and high volume stamped chassis and assemblies.  With North American facilities located in California, Illinois, Rhode Island, and Mexico, Pentair Electronic Packaging is structured for success.     We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will report directly to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.   This position has responsibilities that include financial consolidation analysis and month-end close processes for a manufacturing company.  There is a lot of opportunity for growth within this department.     Duties and Responsibilities: · Assisting in the execution of annual plan and quarterly forecast, including template development, process coordination and communication, data upload and maintenance in the financial system. · Deliver monthly reporting and financial supports to the Management/Leadership Team. · Maintain Hyperion plan and forecast categories and documentation. · Perform the month end closing activities, reporting and account reconciliation. · Coordinate and distribute the weekly summary and updates of  the shipment report, headcount report and plant scorecard. · Coordinate with Corporate for major deadlines and delivery requirements and update internal Finance Calendar accordingly. · Assist in other financial analysis and reporting projects to deliver the financial commitment. · Ad hoc reporting and analysis relating to financials, forecasts, and budgets.     Education & Experience Required:   · Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance is required.  · CPA/MBA/MSA preferred. · 5+ years experience with financial consolidation and month end close process in the manufacturing environment is necessary. · Hyperion/HFM and ERP system experience required.  JD Edwards a plus. · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. · Strong analytical skills and communication skills are necessary. · Ability to apply financial knowledge and analytical skills to unstructured projects. · Must be flexible, organized and able to deliver accurate work under time constraints and deadlines. · Must be a self-starter with dynamic personality and willingness to be a team player.
