SPECIALIST-DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEMS
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the installation, configuration and testing of data acquisition control systems and data van computer systems including hardware and software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Build PC hardware and software for computer systems required for production inventory.
* Install PC hardware and software within data van products.
* Install, configure and test the data van computer systems as part of the data van production process.
* Install, configure and test the data acquisition control system product line.
* Provide primary telephonic customer support and service for both the data van computer systems and data acquisition control system product line.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or two to four years related experience.
* Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
* Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work- related problems.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Certificates & Licenses
CompTIA A+ Certification and/or Network Plus Certification preferred.
Other Requirements
Prior work experience with PC’s, printers, and peripherals is required. Working knowledge of PC operating systems and commercial application software required. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and client/service environment also required.
