SERVICE COORDINATOR

Job Purpose:

Service Coordinator:

Serves customers by receiving and relaying customer requests; providing clerical support for service department maintaining all service files and databases.

Duties:Receives customer requests, prepares work orders, assigns field technician, and purchase orders; Is the pivot point for all communications related to work orders under his/her control or assignment; Ensures all policies and procedures for the service department are followed and executed for each job; Prepares exception/variance reports by collecting and summarizing data for supervisors and management; Review of all work orders for completeness and accuracy with supervisors, prior to invoicing.  Submit all documents for final invoicing in a timely manner for customers; Serves customers and vendors by researching and responding to inquiries; mailing records, invoices, and reports; Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.

Skills/Qualifications:

Proficient with MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.  Experience using general office equipment.Exceptional organizational skills are mandatory for this position.  Customer service experience in a related industrial would be a plus.
