SENIOR GRIND OPERATOR

Peform w wide range of grinding operations to bearing components such as Inner/Outer/Bore or Rooler Patt, C-bore, Inner/Outer Races, Wirelock, depending upon machine or operation to be perform following established procedures.Operate only after set up, changes own conventional grind wheels. Check gauges for accuracy and report need for adjustment when indicated to the supervisor. Gauge knowledge must be sufficient to use all gauges in area of responsibility. Knowledge of nital etches and magna flux helpful. Perform necessary inspection or audits visually or with proper gauges to meet product specifications. Maintain necessary records. Move materials and parts as needed or directed. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Perform other related duties as required or directed. Train operator personnel as needed or required. Conduct or assist in problem solving meetings to improve manufacturing techniques.
