Our core values - ethics and integrity, independence, innovation and quality - are the foundation of our company and drive every decision and action we take.If you thrive on challenges and have the ability and talent to be a Timken associate, we currently have an opportunity to join our team.Responsibilities: Develop and direct regional commodity strategies, supporting global commodity strategies, for stamped and molded products for regional, external spend of up to 25 million dollars.· Leads cross-functional supply chain teams, comprised of SQD, Order Fulfillment, plant/facility purchasing & quality, and Purchasing associates that manage OTD, capacity & inventory, and material flow.· Manage customer-supplier relationships to provide total lowest cost of ownership, and protect Timken brand promise, for procurement to payment process that meets/exceeds Purchasing KPIs.· Perform supplier assessments and support development of commercial/business agreements.· Analyze spend data and supply base portfolio for stamping and molded products and leverage knowledge of supply base across manufacturing facilities, creating and implementing appropriate strategies.· Develop, coordinate and execute projects in support of commodity strategies.· Drive resolution of issues and problems that occur from time to time in the procurement to payment process between plant/facility purchasing and supplier.
