SAP Specialist SD

Job Description:

Provide expert level guidance in reviewing processes and requirements during the business – IT strategic alignment project. Focus will be on analysis related to Order to Cash functional area, SAP SD and Logistics Execution functionality plus integration to other SAP modules, MES and APS software . Roll will also involve providing support for existing SAP implementations across North America.

 

Specific Responsibilities include:

 

-  Function as SAP SD Module specialist during preliminary requirements definition, implementation and sustain phases of SAP deployment for US and North America.

-  Ensure Mittal Steel global standards are supported by functional and technical designs.

-  Coordinate ongoing interaction with business representatives from various facilities and business units in the OtC functional area to provide added functionality as needed.

-  Within the Corporate ITIL framework ensure corrections and additions to the existing solutions meet standards.

Provide level 2 support for production implementations when necessary.

 

 

 

Experience Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

Must have minimum of 6 years SAP experience with core focus on SD and Logistics Execution functional areas. Demonstrated understanding of integration with financial and manufacturing processes. Experience with complete process chain from inquiry through payment.

Industry background in Mill products and DIMP solutions required.

Hands on configuration experience in SD and MM modules. Process mapping and solution design experience with Organizational Structures, Pricing Strategy, SD Documents, Variant Configuration, Shipping, Inventory Management, Invoicing and Credit.

Must have current SAP Enterprise or R/3 4.7 experience.

Full implementation cycle background with a minimum of 3 separate implementations required.

Experience with project implementation methodology and program office concepts. Experience with ITIL concepts and processes a plus.

Microsoft Office skills essential.

Proven leadership skills and Command of English language both spoken and written.

Demonstrated analytical skills.

Ability to effectively interact with various user and organizational groups to determine requirements and set expectations.

 

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with integration of ERP and MES systems a plus.

Upgrade experience a plus.

Experience with template solutions and roll-outs desired.

Bachelors Degree with focus on Information Management

 

Preferred Requirements:

Certification in SAP modules a plus.
