Job Title:          SAP FI/CO Business Analyst

 

Location:          Modesto, California

Short Description:

 

The position is for a self-starting, high energy individual, supporting the business in the FI/CO modules of SAP ECC 6.0.  The position will be based in Modesto, California. 

 

Essential Functions/Major Duties:

 

The person shall be responsible for:

  Configuration improvements and maintenance of the FI/CO modules Business analysis within the FI/CO framework and efficiency improvements Reporting and analysis thereof in FI/CO modules, including development of variance reporting Business and user support across the Finance team/s in North America SAP roll out support in North America Project management and/or support of SAP related projects in North America

 

The modules being covered are: Finance (FI), Cost Controlling (CO) and Fixed Assets (FA).

 

The person would need to be able to travel between sites within North America.

 

The person will report to the Financial Director.

 

Specific Job Skills Needed:

  Financial background and SAP experience essential Ability to work independently within a team Strong communication skills An analytical person who can adapt between different environments Project management skills would be a benefit Microsoft knowledge required Energetic Good problem solving skills Work well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines

 

Formal Education and Training Required/Desired:

Bachelor Degree preferably with a major in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, computer information systems, management information systems or a related field.

2 years of recent, full-time, professional-level, paid experience in the functional configuration, modification or maintenance of SAP financial system. Supervisory experience is desirable.  Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
