SAP Business Warehouse Specialist
Analysis, development, support and communication of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) projects. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead Analyst in the analysis, development, support and communication of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) projects
- A lead role in development and advocacy of the change management process.
- Drive knowledge transfer across the organization.
- Ensures testing occurs to established standards.
- Completes and ensures appropriate documentation.
- Must be conscientious and able to work with confidential information on a daily basis. INTERNAL/EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

- The Strategic Information System Program Management (PMO) office
- Functional leaders and Business process owners
Job Requirements:
Degree from an accredited university.
- 3 years SAP BW experience with technical design, configuration, support, and implementation knowledge preferred.
- Experience as Team Lead/Supervisor in BW environment
- Experience in Data warehouse concepts.
- Experience in Bex tools, Queries, reporting and analysis services (essential)
- Experience in R/3 Queries (nice to have)
- Experience with project management.
- Able to identify and discuss client expectations as relevant to own area and monitor and report on delivery as was promised.
- Able to identify and resolve common customer problems, issues, or concerns. Experienced in analyzing daily problems for trends and taking steps to avoid recurrence. Able to identify and document specific problems and resolution alternatives and describe a specific problem and offering the perspective of each involved stakeholder. Able to gain agreement on the problem-solving process, risk assessment, decision points, and criteria.
- Experience in SAP full cycle implementations, integration and regression testing processes across SAP applications preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of custom report approaches, user exits and other non-configuration related application components and the reason for their existence.
- Strong technical skills, conceptual vision and ability to articulate thoughts and ideas to others.
- Must make connections to the business case, verifying a benefits/costs (valid ROI) has been determined and is appropriate for work to be completed.
- Must be able to succeed within a cross-functional team environment as measured by personal growth and the results and growth of other members of the team.
- Must be able to deliver well-developed recommendations on change initiatives with appropriate research and backup and present strong, logical arguments to support point of view.
- Must have “do what it takes” attitude, inspiring others to do the same.
- Experience with desktop applications such as MS Project, Word, and Excel is required.
