SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Texas/Gulf Coast Region

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with 7+ years experience working at an industrial equipment manufacturer or manufacturers’ representative organization.  A four year college degree in business, engineering, or industrial distribution is preferable.  However, we will consider degrees in other areas with applicable experience.  The ideal candidate will have a strong sales aptitude and a complete understanding of market strategy, sales cycle management, and closing sales.  Excellent communication, administration, and presentation skills are required along with the ability to communicate business concepts to our customers and their management.  The chosen candidate will possess outstanding laptop/PC skills in ACT, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. 

 

This position will be a factory direct sales position calling on customers in the Texas-Gulf Coast region.  Experience with soliciting engineering and petrochemical companies, giving presentations, and direct end user sales are required.  Some of the responsibilities will include reviewing specifications and preparing cost models, writing quotes and proposals, consulting with clients and representatives regarding job specific needs, answering in-bound sales calls and making sales calls, sizing centrifugal blowers to customer specific applications, and closing and writing up orders.
