SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER FOR METAL FABRICATION MACHINERY

Seeking aggressive Sales/Marketing professional for small privately held CNC machinery builder in Massachusetts.  Must relocate to Boston area.  Responsible for managing North American distributor network, some direct selling and developing marketing programs including media ads, videos, internet promotion and technical brochures.  Minimum 30% travel required.  Knowledge of metal fabricating with strong mechanical aptitude required.  Minimum 3 years experience with proven track record of outside sales performance.

 

Prefer Bachelors Degree in technical discipline, strong mechanical aptitude, computer and internet savvy.

 

This is a small company environment where you will wear many hats.  A typical week could have you writing a user’s guide for a new product, creating a sales demo video to educate distributors and end users, creating a sales promotion to incentivize the distributors, conducting a sales meeting with distributorship and then making sales calls with them to end users.

 

You would be responsible for advertising in print media and building traffic to our website. Coordination of tradeshows, managing a sales data base and cultivation of O.E.M. accounts are other job functions.

 

Increasing our sales moderately will yield a 6-figure income.
