Rework Technician

For over 25 years, Cal Quality Electronics, a leading Southern California Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) company, whose services include design engineering, PCB assembly, electro-mechanical assembly and systems integration has been providing manufacturing services to the industrial, medical, aerospace and automotive markets. The Company has an excellent Rework Technician opportunity due to exceptional growth over the past two years.

 



Description
With minimal supervision, performs a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, and hand soldering on assembly units.

 Requirements


Required Skills:Surface and thru-hole component removal and replacement using a soldering iron and rework equipment;Ability to follow technical assembly instructions;Good motor skills and dexterity;Able to write clearly and concisely;Able to effectively communicate production issues with others in the organization;Able to clearly interpret assembly procedures;At least 1-2 years related experience is required;Good attention to details focusing on zero defect output.


Responsibilities:Complete special projects as required;Conduct manufacturing inspections of completed assemblies;Perform assembly rework as required;Maintain records, logs, and other related documentation;Cleans and maintains work area per policies and housekeeping rules;Assists in assembly problem resolutions;Maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized work area;Must be able to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
