Research and Development Manager
The Research and Development (R&D) Manager is responsible for working closely with Restek's Product Managers and market specialists to develop and complete Restek's annual strategic plans for research and new products. The R&D team manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the efforts of the R&D chemists. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the R&D laboratory, and maintaining good communication between the R&D team and other functional areas within Restek. Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, chemistry or other related field or equivalent years of job experience along with a minimum of 5 years experience in the chromatography field is required. Demonstrated leadership ability including working with cross-functional teams and senior departmental management, the ability to perform financial analysis of projects and strong people skills are also essential.
