Individual will participate in research & development activities by assisting Engineers in performing multiple tasks associated with the development and prototype production of advanced non metallic materials stating with powders. These tasks require accurate, precise record keeping when performing tasks associated with powder mixing/blending, forming of parts and firing in high temperature furnaces. Person will also be responsible for writing technical reports detailing procedures, outcomes, and observations.  Minimum qualifications include:*        Associate's degree or equivalent work experience*        At least 5 years of relevant work experience.*        Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal)*        Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)*        Knowledge of standard scientific techniques to compile & analyze data*        Ability to work with tasks simultaneously*        Strong attention to detail*        Demonstrated mechanical aptitude *        Basic mathematical skills *        Willingness to work overtime and/or non-standard shifts as necessary. *        Must be a US Person Conditions of Employment Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
