Located in Burns Harbor, the Representative for Talent Management will:

 Plan, develop and coordinate ArcelorMittal USA's learning and development initiatives for salaried employees.  Emphasis is on supervisor and leadership development in addition to general business acumen development and technical training.Collaborate on design, development and implementation of training programs.  This is includes conducting training needs assessment and tracking cost associated with programs in order to define training requirements and measure effectiveness of training.Support operation facilities and staff departments in US.  No direct reports to supervise.Serve as liaison between USA and Corporate HR/ArcelorMittal University.  Work with external providers of training.Collaborate on the design, development and implementation of AM USA Supervisor and Leadership Development programs, General Business Skill, and Technical training programs.  Work with AM Corporate University on implementation of corporate programs in the US.  *Develop and maintain standards, tools and processes that support learning and development.  Maintain collaborative working relationships (internal/external) to continually identify, priortize, and evaluate learning and development opportunities.  Coordinate logistics associated with learning and development activities. Develop methods to track training progress and evaluation of program effectiveness. Collaborate on development of external partnerships to support learning and development needs.  Participate in preparing annual budget.Take direction from Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Experience Requirements

Minimum/ Basic Requirements:2 years experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.  Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; collaborative problem solver.  Able to work with people from diverse backgrounds, organization functions and levels.  Proven ability to plan and organize work.  Knowledge of learning and development processes, tools, and systems.

Preferred Requirements:Experience working for a large manufacturing company.

Education Requirements

Minimum/ Basic Requirements:Bachelor’s degree with major area in Human Resources, Business, or related field.  English as native language.
