Join a leader in the high value fluid-handling market and be a part of a team that has been dedicated to our high quality products for over 50 years. As our Canadian Regional Manager at Liquid Controls, you will showcase your consultative sales skills as you build lasting partnerships within our strong network of distributors and OEMs in this high-potential location. This is your chance to offer leading technology and software solutions for the oil and gas industry and work in a territory that is the largest trading partner with the US. With your ambition and our leading products, you will assist us in further expanding the reach of the country's best-known liquid measurement and movement solutions.
From its start in 1956, Liquid Controls, a unit of IDEX Corporation (NYSE:IEX), has been dedicated to providing high quality flow meters and accessories for accurate liquid measurement in both custody transfer and process control applications. Continuously branching out from the original military aircraft fueling requirement which gave us our start, we now serve a wide variety of industries. Our manufacturing team is made of the most highly skilled craftspeople in the region, all working together each day to assure that personal care goes into each task that makes up an LC product. We rely on a strong combination of in-house engineered designs and a network of strategically located factory authorized full service distributors to ensure that our customers around the world are supported with technology tailored to each industry's particular requirements. Planned obsolescence has no part in our philosophy, and we at Liquid Controls are proud that our products, correctly installed and maintained, will provide years of dependable service.
As the Canadian Regional Manager, your main mission will be to manage Liquid Controls' distributor and OEM network within Canada. Your knowledge of hydraulics and flow measurement devices combined with your ability to provide solutions for technical problems will enable you to assist distributors with the installation, training, and operation of our applications and products. Building and expanding our long-standing partnerships will require travel of up to 60%, including overnights, from your primary office located in Lake Bluff, IL, Montreal, or Toronto. Your proven success in exceeding customer satisfaction, meeting forecasting goals, maintaining weekly reports, and developing a calendar of activities will give you an added advantage in this role. If you have the desire to put your relationship-building expertise to use in a high-potential, growing territory, then join a company that takes pride in their products and provides the support for individual success.
