RF Engineering Technician

Here at OmniPhase we pride ourselves in designing and manufacturing quality Phase Noise Measurement Systems, as well as some other products that aid in the defense of our country.  We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a RF Engineering Technician.  Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:  Incoming and Outgoing Inspection of various mechanical and electrical components. Shipping and Receiving. Maintaining Inventory Databases and Logs. Creating various technical documents, as well as updating existing procedures and Assembly Instructions. Assembling various types of electronic and mechanical components using OmniPhase test procedures and basic hand tools. Calibration, Test, and Troubleshooting of Electronic Systems, PCB’s, and Sub-Assemblies. Soldering of various electronic components. Install software and configure Windows based systems. Build Prototype circuits. Tunes component values to achieve optimal performance. Initiates deviations and ECO’s to resolve design issues and compliance's. Modify existing products for options, updates, or custom applications. May have to travel to various sights in the U.S. to upgrade or repair OmniPhase Systems.

 

 

The qualified applicant must have at least 5 years experience in the RF Industry and possess an A.S. Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.  Phase Noise experience is a plus.  OrCAD, Solid Works, MS Project experience is also desired but not necessary.  Candidate must be proficient with MS Office, and Windows based environments.  Candidate must work well with out supervision and be very organized.  A strong technical knowledge is necessary for this position.  A Secret Clearance is also necessary.
