RECEPTIONIST & OFFICE ASSISTANT

Job Purpose:
Receptionist and Office Assistant needed in small 5 person office.
Located near the intersection of Loop 12 and I-30.
Duties:
* Greet visitor arrivals
* Route incoming phone calls
* Open, date stamp and sort incoming mail
* Maintain office supply inventory and place orders, in addition to special requests
* Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs;
monitoring equipment operation; and purchasing postage meter funds.
* Picking-up and delivering items using personal automobile (mileage reimbursed).
* Serves customers by answering questions; forwarding messages; confirming customer orders; keeping customers
informed of order status.
* Complete data entry timely and accurately throughout the day
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
