A strategic move to Tippmann Sports is right on target with your career success!  As the leading manufacturer and distributor of paintball markers and accessories, our commitment to product innovation, quality and reliability has made us the #1 paintball company in the sporting goods industry!   Tippmann Sports seeks a Machinist/Associate Engineer with machining experience to assist in the design and manufacturing of paintball marker components.  The basic duties and responsibilities are as follows: -Fabricate parts for the R & D Department through the operation of lathes, milling  machines, drill presses and similar equipment-Design and develop components and parts to make high quality paintball markers-Fabricate fixtures for standard production and modification of parts-Use graphic instructions such as blueprints, sketches, models or other visual aids to   fabricate parts-Use engineering expertise to troubleshoot production issues as needed-Assemble, repair and modify mechanical equipment-CAD Design experience The successful candidate will have a mechanical engineering associate degree with 2+ years experience as a skilled machinist.  This position plays an integral role in the development of new and innovative designs and technical improvements to our products.  The ability to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines is an absolute must.  Additional skills and experience include CAD design, solid project management, computer experience in the Microsoft Office suite of products, Solidworks or ProE, strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. Tippmann offers competitive pay and benefits and a positive work environment.  Interested candidates may apply by email to:  nas7ch32@yahoo.com or may fax resume to 260-469-6026.             Company: Tippmann Sports Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46803 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Associate Degree Occupations: CAD/Drafting Industry: Manufacturing - Other Company: Tippmann Sports
