When you develop a custom amenity program with Marietta, the possibilities are endless. Quality/GMP Supervisor I.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Supervise the QA Personnel and perform special projects as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance.B. Gives technical support as required and makes specific recommendations as to the disposition of materials.C. Maintain and supervise the department to comply with cGMP’s and customer requirements.D. Maintain the overall facility at a constant level that meets or exceeds current good manufacturing practices.E.  Provide facility support in maintaining and improving the current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) posture to ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to.F.  Position the facility in an audit ready status for external inspections (FDA and customers) through auditing, procedure development, CAPA and continuous improvement activities.G. Provide guidance and interpretation for the implementation of regulatory requirements.  II. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Assist with investigations to determine disposition of OOS materials, develop corrective and preventative actions.B. Strive to provide the best value of services at the lowest cost.  Diligently set goals to control the area budget, reducing but maintaining quality of testing, inspections and work redundancies. C. Maintain a trained work force.  Develop training programs for the departments.  Maintain a good departmental frame of mind.D. Administer company procedures and policies equally and fairly. E.  Maintain discipline.F.  Perform all duties in a safe manner using proper tools and wearing appropriate protective equipment.G. Coordinates project activities.H. Interface with customers as necessary to resolve quality complaints, specification issues, and provide technical advice.I.  Ensures Retain Room and Reject Area are maintained in good order.J. Submits monthly reports to the Director of Quality Assurance.K.  Supervise the activities of all Quality Assurance Personnel.  Coordinate their activities with appropriate departmental supervisors.L.  Monitor employee behavior in the facility on a daily basis for adherence to GMP expectations.  Address non-compliance by identifying and instructing on appropriate behavior/conduct.  Pursue discipline where appropriate.M. Assist Director of Quality Assurance with follow-ups to customer and internal audit findings.N.  Ensure the grounds are properly maintained.O. Develop SOP’s, test methods, validation protocols and reports for product. P.  Trains and supervises employees; trains QA and Production employees in areas of product quality concerns.Q.  Accomplishes assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. R. Other related duties as assigned.
