Best of all, our employees share in the success which results from that growth. Quality Engineer II – 8540 A&F Position Summary Parker has an exciting opportunity for a QE to lead supplier Quality improvement activities. Participate in developing new suppliers in support of new product design. Create and implement advanced supplier Quality planning. Identify product Quality trends, initiate formal problem solving activity.  Duties will include, but not be limited to:  Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards and evaluation methods for products and processes.  Provides statistical information for quality improvements by determining and applying testing methods and criteria.  Coordinates and guides technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure division quality objectives are achieved. Responsibilities  Create and implement supplier development plans in conjunction with Procurement and the business teams. Perform Quality trend analysis using failure history, reliability data and identify key opportunities for improvement. Conduct AS9100 Quality management system assessments internally and at supplier facilities. Perform root cause analysis in support of identifying cause and corrective actions of supplier rejects.Requirements  Bachelors degree (BS) in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through one year or more of related experience.  American Society for Quality certification desired. Demonstrated experience with mechanical design/drawings, GD&T, producibility and inspection methods. Demonstrated experience in data analysis, and leading team problem solving activities. Quality system auditing experience. Excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills. Knowledge of AS9100 aerospace Quality systems or similar.
