Job Responsibilities:This role is responsible to develop, implement, and conduct supplier quality control programs and procedures to assure incoming product and material quality. Assists in the RMA coordination, compilation, and analysis of mechanical/test and inspection reports. Works under the direction of senior level engineers on complex technical problems.Develops, implements, and maintains quality inspection programs including supplier selection and certification.Serves as the Quality Assurance representative to the existing RMA/FRACAS system to identify and resolve field product problems.Interacts with Manufacturing and Engineering in the identification and resolution of RMA related to product quality problems. Interacts with Procurement Engineering, Purchasing, and vendors to resolve OEM quality problems.Develops and conducts inspector training programs in such areas as measurement methodology, statistical sampling, and test fixture operations.Maintains data tracking programs and data integrity. Develops and implements record keeping forms and procedures to provide management information and feedback on the state of incoming/supplier/ OEM process or product quality.Analyzes compiled data from test and inspection reports to identify problems. Summarizes data into major points and submits to management/supplier for review and action. Assists in the development of test controls process controls, and accepted standards for new and existing products.Develops Quality Audit plans under the direction of senior level engineers.Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college. 2-4 years related quality engineering experience.Supplier Quality techniques exposure and usage under ASQC directives.In depth knowledge of ISO 9000-2000 directives on use and deployment.DMAIC basic tools usage and deployment key asset. Lean Six Sigma experience a must. Experience and knowledge of the PC industry essential.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
