Quality Assurance Manager Plastics Injection Molding Medical Devices and Health Care Applications

 Client seeks a Quality Assurance and Engineering Manager of a primary injection molding facility. High growth in the medical device and health care manufacturing industry has required my client to implement new ISO certifications and high-end quality systems and remain a leader in the custom injection molding business. We seek a dedicated and experienced quality and continuous improvement manufacturing executive who can immediately take charge of the plant-wide quality systems focusing on customer satisfaction, defect prevention,  and continuous improvement utilizing six sigma techniques. 

 

Key functional responsibilities are to improve quality systems to the level of "Zero Defect" plant performance.

Identify and resolve systemic quality problems through reductions in variations of processes and components.

Coordinate ISO9000/TS16949/ISO13485 upgrading, training, certification, and maintenance.

Minimum requirements are Lean Manufacturing familiarity, PPAP, ISIR, APQP, MRB, Root Cause Investigations, and leading and mentoring Advanced Quality Engineers.

Best candidates are degreed, minimum 5 years quality experience, Injection Molding of custom engineered plastics resins, medical device or automotive manufacturing, QSR, certification of quality engineering, auditing, and six-sigma black belt level training.
