SEH America is growing global wafer manufacturer who is on the cutting edge of silicon technology. We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to be a key member of our team as we expand our Vancouver, WA, plant to include the latest 300mm wafer technology.

 

As a Quality Assurance Engineer in our quality group, this individual will develop, evaluate, revise, and apply technical quality assurance methods to equipment, processes, and product. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with company and industry quality assurance standards and government regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience and a concrete knowledge of applicable quality systems. In addition this candidate will perform in the following areas;

 

·  Performs analysis and identifies trends as it relates to quality processes and product and recommends corrective action when necessary.

·  Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.

·  Work with manufacturing to drive quality improvement.

·  Investigates customer related issues and acts as customer liaison.

 

 

This person must have outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively work multiple projects concurrently with a wide variety of personalities. 

 

Qualifications:

 

·  2-4 years of work experience in a Quality Assurance Engineering role.

·  Must demonstrate a high degree of technical, and project management skills.

·  Semiconductor or related large plant/ high tech environment experience ideal.

·  Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
