Company Introduction: We are a CA-based manufacturer of Al & Zn Precision Die Castings.  We currently employ 150 people.  Our manufacturing facility services many different industries, Commercial, Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, Telecommunication, and Military Electronics.



 

Job Description:

 

·   Works with Quality Mgr to establish and implement procedures to support company goals of 98% minimum for Quality and On-Time Delivery (OTD) and to maintain a continuous improvement culture throughout the plant.

·  Work closely with Quality Manager, Manufacturing, and Project Engineer to determine root cause and corrective action when required.

·  Assist Quality dept personnel to coordinate all necessary documentation, scheduling, and production hardware for internal source inspection validation and presentation to customer source inspection when required.

·  Serves as an internal quality systems auditor to maintain, implement current ISO 9002 / AS 9100 certification and subsequent standards that may supercede.

·  Participates in the training and implementation of operational procedures.

·  Assist Quality Mgr on approval and disposition of returned material 

·  Assist Quality Mgr with implementation and update of all quality related documentation, AVL, Quality clause, contract review etc…

·  Works closely with the Q.A. Manager in developing and implementing quality programs to provide continuous improvement opportunities throughout the plant to support company goals of less than 1.5% Customer Return dollars to monthly dollars shipped per month.

·  Serves as backup to manager as needed.

Job Requirements:

·  High School Graduate

·  Some College and or experience on quality, manufacturing field.

·  Two plus years working in a high production environment
