QC Test Technician II

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Performing Test/QC on products of the respective production line to include Schlumberger, J-Line and B-Line;

·  Pre-inspecting small/medium adjustable speed drive assemblies;

·  Maintaining all testing and/or quality control equipment; and

·  Assisting the department with other essential duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Education, Skills, and Experience:  Prefer 1yr  electrical/electronic technology college level degree / trade school or military electrical/electronics, 1+ years working as a Test Technician on AC/DC  adjustable speed drive with a clear understanding of control and power circuit logic using schematics and wiring diagrams. Individual must demonstrate the ability to work safely and efficiently around voltages ranging from 115Vac up to 600Vac.

 

Tools and equipment used: Individual must have knowledge and ability to use O-scopes, multi-function meters, probes, and external power supplies. Other tools used to perform the daily  job activities include but not limited to; torque wrenches, screw drivers etc. Must demonstrate the ability to read and record all technical data using proper test documents in reference to specific job task (schematics and wiring diagrams).
