QA Tech I and QA Tech II, Food Processing Plant QA Tech I: General Description: This position tests and inspects products at various stages of production process to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Position Responsibilities: Auditing process control points within the production system. Verifying HACCP records and critical control points and perform plant GMP and sanitation audits perform pre-operations sanitation inspections. Evaluate work in process and batch samples of product against standards and specifications. Make effective decisions regarding product or process quality, and follow up results completely. Perform al laboratory analytical procedures, i.e. viscosity, pH, organoleptic testing, etc. Education/Experience Requirements: High school degree, -1-2 years food year food science/microbiology degree preferred Quality assurance experience preferred QA Tech II: General Description: This position performs Quality Assurance functions including HACCP, Net Weight Audits, GMP/Sanitation audits and work in progress and finished goods testing. Position Responsibilities: Auditing process control points within the production system. Evaluate work in process and batch samples of product against standards and specifications. Make effective decisions regarding product or process quality, and follow up results completely. Perform al laboratory analytical procedures, i.e. viscosity, pH, organoleptic testing, etc. Maintain manual files of testing analysis forms and computer files Assist in performing environmental swabbing and microbiological sampling of raw materials, work in process and finished goods. Education/Experience Requirements: High school degree, 2-4 year food year food science/microbiology degree preferred 2-3 years quality assurance experience Location : Mission Valley area of San Diego, Ca Pay : Begins at $13 per hour for QA Tech I and $14 for QA Tech II. ______________________________________________________ Need flexibility in your work schedule?
