QA - Quality Systems Manager

TASER International's products protect life, providing advanced Electronic Control Devices (ECDs) for use in the law enforcement, medical, military, correctional, professional security, and personal protection markets. TASER devices use proprietary technology to incapacitate dangerous, combative, or high-risk subjects who pose a risk to law enforcement/correctional officers, innocent citizens, or themselves in a manner that is generally recognized as a safer alternative to other uses of force. TASER technology protects life, and the use of TASER devices dramatically reduces injury rates for law enforcement officers and suspects.
We have an exciting and dynamic position available, which will allow you to utilize your Quality Assurance experience, and skills. This opportunity will allow you to lead, manage, and become part of the team to drive change and implement improvements to develop a world-class manufacturing environment. As a seasoned problem solver, responsibilities include ISO system management, personnel management, and hands-on implementation of key quality initiatives. This is an active leadership position with excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced industry leader.
Required Skills:
· Successful track record for continual improvement is a must.
· Strong working knowledge of quality systems, auditing, manufacturing processes, as well as metrics generation and reporting.
· Excellent communicator, organizer, leader, and mentor.
· Track record as champion of continual improvement methodologies which have driven change within an organization.
· Minimum of 5-years related work experience.
· Should be proficient with computer systems and quality related software packages.
Desired Skills:
· BS degree
· Six-Sigma practices and tools
· Familiarity with DOE’s, SPC tools, FMEA’s, and lean methods are a plus.
