Poster Display, a cutting edge, nationally known,large-format printing company, located in the Indianapolisarea, has an immediate opening for a full time purchasing agent.  We are a mid-sized, customer focused  printing company, specializing in exceedingour customer’s requirements in the manufacture and delivery of high quality,graphics marketing materials.

 

This position requires working within computer databases,demonstrating exceptional communication skills (written and verbal),self-motivated to accomplish goals and driven to anticipate our customer’sneeds.  This position also requiresoccasional schedule flexibility, an organized work ethic and an ability tohandle confidential information.  Thequalified candidate will have experience in buyer negotiations and inprospecting new vendors.

The major responsibilities of our Buyer/Purchasing Agentare: Prospect new domestic and foreign suppliers Obtain price and availability quotes forestimated raw materials Prepare purchase orders Complete reports of purchasing activities andcosts, verify order delivery and pricing Negotiate pricing, purchase and expedite ordersin process Handle expedited transportation requests Update price lists, filing, and product research Assist in material reconciliation and materialmanagement Assist in tracking inventory levels andreplenishment Press check bought out services Position requires strong computer literacy
