Property & Casualty Insurance Manager

Property & Casualty Insurance Manager Management, development and administration of the company's property and casualty risk management programs to control exposure to loss through loss prevention, insurance, and claim control.   Primary Duties: - Direct property loss prevention engineering at all company locations and work with property insurer and local management to evaluate and implement appropriate loss prevention programs. - Assist in formulating objectives, developing underwriter presentations, evaluating proposals, and negotiating policy terms and conditions for various insurance renewals. - Manage all property and marine cargo loss settlements, oversee administration of automobile liability claims, and assist in the administration of insured workers' compensation claims. - Review contracts for compliance with corporate insurance requirements. - Other responsibilities as assigned.   Bachelor's Degree in risk management, insurance, finance or accounting At least 5 years of risk management and insurance, financial planning and analysis, accounting or loss prevention experience Must be willing to travel 30-60 days per year mostly to company locations Desired Skills: Positive Attitude, Ethics, and International Values which support our company's values, and a healthy, high performance culture Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships Self-motivated individual able to prioritize own work Process orientated Detail orientated Experience working with Factory Mutual (FM Global) loss prevention engineers Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Fellow in Risk Management (FRM) or related insurance certification Proficient with standard business software (Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent)  Visit us at www.Navistar.com to discover more about our organization.   Powering Ingenuity.
